Program

You will learn to balance user needs with business value, understanding the impact of decisions from a Product Management perspective.

We will equip you with the skills to understand the problem context and interpret critical business metrics. You will learn to avoid the consequences of neglecting revenue metrics and failing to adapt to market changes, ensuring that each validated opportunity has a solid foundation in user needs and business value.

This module includes techniques for brainstorming, idea prioritization, and identifying potential pitfalls in product concepts. It equips you with the skills needed to generate innovative solutions that meet user needs and organizational goals, avoiding common failures such as prioritizing aesthetics over utility or overcommitting to excessively complex technical solutions.

This module also delves into the design, execution, and validation of experiments to test product hypotheses, followed by communicating results and making informed product design decisions. It aims to develop competencies in empirical decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and feedback integration. You will learn to avoid misinterpreting data, investing time and money in unvalidated assumptions, and ineffective communication, ensuring the product aligns with user expectations and organizational goals.

We will focus on transforming validated opportunities and designs into actionable plans, along with the need to work closely with product teams. The module emphasizes creating user stories and acceptance criteria that are deeply rooted in user needs and strategic perspectives, fostering collective ownership within the development team.

This module covers monitoring and analyzing product performance, collecting post-launch feedback, and integrating that feedback for iterative improvement. You will understand user behavior, multichannel feedback, and how to address common mistakes such as misinterpreting KPIs and overlooking cross-functional perspectives.

Asynchronous activities
Asynchronous activities (1–2 hours weekly) that you can complete at any time, where you will work on practical projects and apply what you learned in the live classes.

FAQs

This program has no strict prerequisites; participants from various disciplines and backgrounds can benefit. However, having a basic understanding of digital products and experience in product-related roles may enhance the learning experience. This flexibility allows individuals eager to deepen their expertise in digital product management to enroll and succeed regardless of their level of familiarity with the subject.

The certification is granted by Disruption Factory, an entity that evaluates beyond what is typically assessed in a traditional certification process. Disruption Factory ensures that certified professionals possess situational competencies and not merely academic ones, thus guaranteeing the highest standards in the industry.

Upon completing the program, it is necessary to take the exam to access the high-standard Disruption Factory certification. The exam consists of scenarios built in a multiple-choice format based on real-world situations. The program is designed to prepare you adequately for the exam.

We record the live classes, so you can watch them later if you can’t attend. However, to access the certification exam, you must meet the 75% attendance requirement for online classes.

Four weeks (one live class per week). The program includes 12 hours of blended learning: live sessions (8 hours) and asynchronous activities (4 hours).
